Recipe for Nasi Lemak:
Ingredients for rice:
3 onions
2 inches of ginger
1 stalk of lemongrass
3 pandan leaves
a little oil
cinnamon
star anise
4 cups of rice
6 cups water + coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon halba, optional
a little bit of salt
Ingredients for sauteed sambal:
7-8 onion seeds, finely grind
5 cloves garlic, finely grind
2 inches of ginger, finely grind
1 handful of anchovies, finely grind
2 large onions, finely grind
a little oil
1/2 large onion
3 pandan leaves
3-4 tablespoons ground chilli
a little water
Javanese acid water
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 cube of anchovies
Melaka sugar to taste
salt to taste
1 clove hollandaise
1 bowl fried anchovies
Additional materials:
